Boiler, Heating and Hot Water Installation in Tunbridge Wells

The customer had purchased three separate flats within the same property, with plans to convert them into one large family home. The original boilers had been removed by the builder.

APV Heating Services were brought in to help with this renovation project in Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The property had been completely gutted, with walls removed and new walls erected as part of the extensive renovation. This provided the perfect opportunity to install a completely new heating and plumbing infrastructure before the finishing works began.

The Challenge

With the property undergoing such a significant transformation, virtually all of the existing heating and service pipework needed replacing.

APV Heating Services were asked to price and carry out the installation of:

  • New pipework for radiators throughout the property
  • New hot and cold water service pipework for the bathrooms
  • A new boiler
  • A new unvented hot water cylinder

It was a substantial amount of work, but installing everything at this stage meant the pipework could be carefully positioned within the newly renovated property before walls and finishes were completed.

Our Solution

We installed all of the new heating and hot and cold-water pipework required throughout the property, along with the new boiler and unvented hot water cylinder.

Once the installation was complete, we connected the new pipework, boiler and cylinder to the mains water supply and brought the system live. This allowed us to thoroughly check the installation and ensure there were no leaks before the renovation progressed any further.

With the complete heating and hot water infrastructure now in place, the customer could confidently move on to the next stages of the renovation.

The Result

It was a substantial installation, but the end result was exactly what the project required. The property now has completely new heating and hot water pipework, a new boiler and an unvented hot water cylinder, all installed and tested ready for the next phase of the transformation.

The customer was delighted with the workmanship and, importantly, could now continue with the renovation knowing that the new heating and plumbing infrastructure was in place.
